Mr. Harry Saxon z”l

It is with sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Mr. Harry Saxon z”l of Lakewood, NJ, He was 94 years old.

Born on November 24, 1924, Harry was a longtime regular presence at the Old Shul, Congregation Sons of Israel-Park Avenue in Lakewood, NJ, which is led by Rav Boruch Ber Yoffe.

He and his wife, Eleanor, lived on 10^th Street in Lakewood for many years.

At the Old Shul, where Harry davened, he was an inspiring presence, serving as a connection for the younger mispallelim to a bygone era, often regaling yungeleit and others at the shul with stories of his youth and recollections of his early life.

The levayah will be held tomorrow, at 10:30 a.m., at the Congregation Sons of Israel Holocaust Memorial Chapel, located at 613 Ramsey Avenue, off of East 7th Street, in Lakewood, NJ.
