It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Mrs. Esther Rosenbaum a”h.

Mrs. Rosenbaum passed away this morning after a period of illness at the age of 71.

She was a daughter of Rav Menachem Manis Mandel zt”l, the legendary founder of Yeshiva of Brooklyn.

She was the devoted wife of Rav Dovid Rosenbaum.

Mrs. Rosenbaum was known for her incredible warmth, kindness, and selfless giving. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her generosity of spirit and unwavering devotion. Her heart was always open to others, and she embodied the values of Torah and chesed in everything she did, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of crossing her path.

She is survived by her husband, Rav Dovid, and their nine daughters, along with their families: Mrs. Kokis, Mrs. Klein, Mrs. Landerer, Mrs. Kohn, Mrs. Stern, Mrs. Hershfeld, Mrs. Tauber, Mrs. Olshin, and Mrs. Hassan. She is also survived by her siblings, Rav Shloime Mandel, Rav Yaakov Mandel, Mrs. Rochel Spektor, Mrs. Frumie Krause, and Mrs. Sarah Aidel Ungarischer.

The levayah will take place today at 2:30 p.m. at Yeshiva Toras Yisroel, located at 1367 Lanes Mill Road in Raintree, Lakewood. The kevurah will follow at the Mount Sinai Cemetery in Lakewood.
