It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Mrs. Lena Cohen a”h.
Mrs. Cohen, wife of Rav Pesach Cohen z”l, was one of the very first kollel wives in Lakewood, NJ.
For many years, Mrs. Cohen was the devoted employee of noted baal chesed R’ Shloimy Gross zt”l.
Mrs. Cohen was a true Torah pioneer, supporting her husband during the period when he himself was among the pioneering talmidim of Rav Aharon Kotler at Beth Medrash Govoha.
A baalas chesed and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Cohen personified the ideals of the ishah kesheirah of a bygone era, a wonderful aishes chayil whose life was devoted to the service of Hashem.
The levayah will be held at 11 a.m. in Brooklyn, NY.
