It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Mrs. Miriam Homnick a”h. She was 82 years old.
Mrs. Homnick was the wife of Rav Moshe Homnick, noted talmid chochom and talmid of Rav Yitzchok Hutner zt”l at Yeshivas Rabbeinu Chaim Berlin.
The Homnicks resided in New York for many years and moved to Lakewood several years ago.
Mrs. Homnick is survived by her husband, Rav Moshe, may he have a refuah sheleimah, and her children, R’ Yaakov Dovid Homnick, R’ Yisroel Yehoshua Homnick, R’ Zvi Elimelech Homnick, Mrs. Shira Steinberg,Mrs. Sorah Gitel Biala, R’ Aharon Simcha Homnick, Mrs. Esther Shayna Meth and R’ Akiva Homnick.
The levayah will take place today at 1:30 p.m. at the Congregation Sons of Israel Holocaust Memorial Chapel, located at 613 Ramsey Street, off of East 7th Street, in Lakewood, NJ.
