It is with great sadness that we report the passing last night of Mrs. Rufka (Regina) Klein, wife of Mr. Martin Klein z”l, noted Torah supporter and president of Bais Medrash Govoah of Lakewood in the 1960s.
Born in July of 1910, Mrs. Klein was a vibrant link to the Torah world of pre-war Europe, and was active much of her life in various philanthropic causes.
Mrs. Klein is survived by her son, R’ Shmuel Klein, of Monsey/Lakewood, and her brother, R’ Eliezer Fishoff of Flatbush.
The levaya will take place today, at noon, at Shomrei Hadas Chapels, located at 3803 14th Avenue in Boro Park, Brooklyn.
