Mulvaney: Time Running Out On Election Fraud Claims

Mick Mulvaney, President Donald Trump’s former chief of staff, says time is slipping away for the reelection team to produce evidence of election fraud to overturn the Nov. 3 vote count, handing a victory to the president.

“Allegations are not enough, and everybody knows this,” Mulvaney, who also served as director of the Office of Management and Budget, told Yahoo Finance Live. Lawyers “have to put up or shut up on the evidence for the lawsuits. You can’t go out on TV and say, ‘They’re stealing the election,’ and not back that up with facts.”

Trump’s team has filed lawsuits in five key states alleging irregularities, as major news organizations have called the election for Democrat Joe Biden. Biden leads the vote count in the majority of states as counting continues in many battleground states in the wake of a record voter turnout and unprecedented early and mail-in voting amid the coronavirus pandemic.

    • Sorry, but he is right. The Trump team has had every lawsuit dismissed except for one about the distance between observers and vote counters — and they lied about that one. The Trump team has no evidence. Biden won.
