Mulvaney: ‘Very Possible’ Shutdown Will Go Into The New Congress

Incoming White House acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney on Sunday said it is “very possible” the current partial government shutdown will extend into the new Congress.

“I don’t think things are going to move very quickly here for the next couple days. … I think it’s very possible the shutdown will go beyond the 28th and into the new Congress,” Mulvaney said during an interview on “Fox News Sunday.”

The new Congress, which will include a Democratic majority in the House, is set to take office on Jan. 3.

  1. This corrupt government should be shutdown for good at least until after the 2024 Presidential election. The Federal Reserve and CIA Mafia abolished and the FBI replaced, the wall should be build and Obamacare replaced.
