You can get your nails done in New Jersey again starting June 22 after all.
Gov. Phil Murphy clarified Tuesday that nail salons in the Garden State will be allowed to reopen the same day hair salons and barber shops may start serving customers as part of Stage 2 of the state’s multiphase reopening from coronavirus lockdown restrictions.
Murphy announced last week that hair salons and barbershops would be allowed to reopen June 22. His office also said nail salons and tattoo parlors would be part of Stage 2, though no exact timeline was given. The date for tattoo parlors remains unclear, but when asked Tuesday if nail salons will be included on the June 22 date, Murphy said yes.
