Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu described the proposal by President Donald Trump to relocate Palestinians from Gaza as the “first fresh idea in years.”
“It has the potential to change everything in Gaza,” Netanyahu remarked during a pre-recorded interview with Fox News’ Mark Levin.
This was the third interview granted by Netanyahu to a sympathetic media outlet during his six-day trip to Washington, DC, while he chose to avoid speaking to most Israeli journalists who accompanied him.
“This is not forcible eviction,” Netanyahu clarified, elaborating on Trump’s plan presented the previous week.
“It’s not ethnic cleansing. We’re removing people from what many countries and activists refer to as an open-air prison. Why keep them in a prison?”
Netanyahu asserted that the residents of Gaza would eventually have the option to return, despite Trump’s initial statement that they would not.
“We’re offering them a chance to relocate temporarily while we work on rebuilding the area physically and addressing radicalization. If they wish to come back, they must renounce terrorism, but they can return.”
The biggest obstacle, Netanyahu admitted, is determining where to send the people of Gaza.
He labeled the plan as “a novel approach, and the right one… a very, very good, new approach.”
Netanyahu rejected claims that US special envoy Steve Witkoff had pressured him into the ongoing hostage release negotiations with Hamas, stating, “We had a real, not only friendly, but eye-to-eye conversation, and what happened was, I accepted this deal months ago. Hamas refused the deal.”
The Prime Minister acknowledged the “initial support” from Joe Biden’s administration early in the conflict. However, as pressure mounted on President Biden to reconsider his stance on Israel, Netanyahu recounted that the White House warned that if Israel advanced into Rafah, “we’ll stop the weapons.”
Netanyahu revealed that some members of his cabinet had suggested ending the war in Gaza due to the growing opposition from the US. “If we become a vassal state, we will not survive,” Netanyahu cautioned.

How do Arabs “disavow terror”? Even if they promise, how can you believe an Arab? Even if you believe them, what about the new born or young Arabs?
If the US is taking over Gaza, let them deal with those terrorists.
They would be forced to call it resistance. It’s called Shinu Hashem.
Who is he kidding? They will promise to behave? And he will accept that promise? Since when does an Arab keep their promises?
Bibi thinks we are stupid?
Exactly how does one “disavow” terrorism? How does a human animal, who gloated over the hostages as they were being released, “renounce” terrorism? Which of these chayos, assuming any actually move away “temporarily”, will be trusted to have renounced and disavowed murder, mayhem, etc? What a foolish thing for Bibi to say!
