Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu today said that he opposes the peace conference that France is organizing in the hopes of bringing an end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Netanyahu cited concerns about the nature of the conference, worrying that an international forum might force a decision.
“I told [the French foreign minister] the only way to advance genuine peace between us and the Palestinians is through direct negotiations between us and them, without preconditions,” Netanyahu said. Read more.
