Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reacted Monday over the news of US pharma giant Pfizer’s effective coronavirus vaccine trials, promising to bring the vaccines to the citizens of Israel.
“Today is a very important day in the global struggle against the coronavirus,” the Israeli premier said in a statement released to the media.
“Pfizer announced that a vaccine that it is developing has an efficacy of 90 percent. In my estimation, several other companies are also advancing toward this goal. We are also advancing with our vaccine; it will take more time,” he stressed.
