The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office has confirmed that Bibi Netanyahu is awake and recovering following a successful prostate surgery.
“The surgery ended successfully without complications,” the PMO shared in an official statement. “The prime minister has woken up, is in good condition, and is completely conscious.”
The statement further explained that Netanyahu has been transferred to a secure, underground recovery area, where he will remain for a few days under medical supervision.
Netanyahu has expressed his gratitude to the surgical team that carried out the operation.
In another update from the hospital, Professor Ofer Gofrit, head of the urology department, commented, “The procedure went as planned.”
