Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in Washington for the unveiling of a US plan for Middle East peace, will fly to Moscow on Wednesday, an Israeli official said.

The official said Netanyahu wanted to brief Russian President Vladimir Putin on the peace plan. Governor of Moscow Andrey Yuryevich Vorobyov signed Issachar’s pardon request on Tuesday morning and the document was forwarded to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

  1. This really shows the difference between Israel and America. Just a few years ago America allowed a US Marine to be imprisoned in Mexico despite no wrong doing. A while before that they allowed two border patrol agents be imprisoned by Mexican authorities for simply doing their job. American politicians were too afraid of Mexico (losing oil contracts) and sat on their hands. In Israel, the prime minister will personally go to Russia and demand their citizen back. America’s leaders only care about money and power. The citizens are just fodder for the political machine

  2. The זכות of פדיון שבויים should stand by him that he won’t sit in jail like the other Prime minister, president and chief rabbi.
