Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, who is also serving as defense minister since the recent resignation of Avigdor Liberman, visited an IDF Commando Brigade exercise Tuesday evening, where he was briefed by IDF Chief-of-Staff Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eisenkot, GOC Commando Brigade Col. Kobi Heller and other senior officers.

Addressing the soldiers participating in the exercise, Netanyahu said:

“The great answer to anti-Semitism is the State of Israel and the IDF. Once we were like a driven leaf in the wind and we could be slaughtered. Today we have the power to respond.

“We are on the eve of Chanukah,” he added. “The spirit of the Maccabees is here – you are the Maccabees. We overcome our enemies with extraordinary strength and the extraordinary spirit that I see here. I see this in the IDF and in all our fighters.

“I am proud of you and believe in you, and the people of Israel believe in you. Continue to succeed. Watch over the state. Watch over yourselves and each other.”

  1. Netanyulahu is turning left cheek Obama right cheek Carter. There is no funny biz in his whiz to inspire.

Its not Jerusalem and he is turning holy into roman legion. The iDF supports hope. The macabees traded no tense for energy. They were likely more hurried to see law than the frowning knesset on a saturday in Bibi’s wake.

Where is the nature of Israel. Its not in the bows and arrows Netanyahu is dreaming funny biz too. Just load them fast and fire like a kingdom is reasonable. The stench of sabbath attrition is cult and the power of secular divide invites no bold boast.

Out IDF should be told to fight by sight of enemy. Not pride in lunch with the prime ministers golden wit without due respect to jewish eternity.

Am I harsh. Well I think I would feel queasy in the state. King David rushes native much less than Bibi and the knesset. We do not see obedient humor.
