In an effort to offset the huge advantage Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden enjoyed in August in spending on television commercials, a new Republican super PAC is launching a $30 million advertising blitz this week to boost President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign, Politico reported on Monday.

The new group, Preserve America, is expected to significantly increase the funds it raises in the near future and comes as there has been mounting frustration within the president’s inner circle over the ineffectiveness of the existing Trump-allied outside group, America First Action, which has also been outraised by its pro-Biden rival.

Biden’s television advertising advantage has been particularly significant in key battleground states.

To help counter that trend, Preserve America’s first ads will begin airing Tuesday in Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Arizona, Iowa, and Georgia, with about 85% of the funds devoted to television commercials and the rest to digital platforms.
