A week after being appointed as a rosh yeshiva at Yeshiva Kol Torah of Bayit Vegan Yerushalayim, Rav Shlomo Schlesinger, a son of the current rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Kol Torah, Rav Moshe Yehuda Schlesinger, went with his father to visit gedolei Yisroel for their brachos and chizuk.
For many years, the shiur klali at Kol Torah was given weekly by Rav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach and Rav Moshe Yehuda Schlesinger on a rotating basis. After Rav Shlomo Zalman passed away, his slot remained vacant. Now, Rav Shlomo Schlesinger has been tasked with alternating with his father in the delivery of shiur klali every other week.
Rav Shlomo and his father visited the Bnei Brak homes of Rav Chaim Kanievsky, Rav Gershon Edelstein, and others.
At Rav Chaim’s home, the discussion revolved around a case of yeshiva that has a generator providing minimal light, while the main light is via electricity.
