The sefer Tomer Devorah is an early classic which teaches how to perfect our middos and behavior. The work has long been cherished by people who seek to become better Jews and better people.
There is another reason to study the work. The famed Rav Chaim of Tzanz revealed a century ago that studying this work is a segulah to be protected from cancer.
Rav Aharon Dovid Goldberg, Rosh HaYeshiva of Telshe Yeshiva of Cleveland, will begin to deliver a daily shiur on Tomer Devorah as a zechus for Klal Yisroel to be protected from the dreaded disease.
The daily five minute shiur will begin Tuesday January 12th and be available through the Chazak Inspiration Line at 718-258-2008, 845-356-6665 or 732-806-8599. Press menu option 3 and then selection 8.

What time of the day (east coast) can we listen live?
The shiur won’t be live but will be posted by 10:00 am everyday
Can MATZAV please post this shiur, video if possible?
“The famed Rav Chaim of Tzanz revealed a century ago that studying this work is a segulah to be protected from cancer.”
1) Where does it say that?
2) The Litvish Telshe Yeshiva follows Sanz?
3) Is it proper to learn something with an explicitly stated goal “for Klal Yisroel to be protected from the dreaded disease.”
I also have heard the same in the the name of the Satmar Rebbe and I can say from personal experience that it works!
The Chofetz Chaim once said that learning Par sh’nogach is a segula for not speaking Lashon HoRah. Learning Sh’miras HaLashon is a better segula.
Learning Tomer Devorah is the segula for what our generation needs, the ability to increase our emotional capacity to be loving, patient, sincere and real.
Learn all the Torah and do all the Mitzvos you want, but this is the sefer that will change your life.
