The hostages who were freed from Hamas captivity have spoken out about the horrific conditions they endured, offering chilling accounts of the abuse they suffered at the hands of their captors.

According to Kan News, the accounts shared by the hostages reveal that they were subjected to brutal physical violence, with the young men suffering the worst of the attacks. Many of them bear scars and burns that serve as proof of the extreme mistreatment they endured.

Some of the hostages were beaten by Hamas’s armed group, while others were subjected to abuse by the families that kept them imprisoned, including even young children.

The freed hostages shared that they fell ill repeatedly due to the rotten or expired food that was given to them during their captivity.

In addition to the physical abuse, the captors also engaged in psychological warfare. The hostages were informed about the deaths of their loved ones and were repeatedly threatened with execution.

During their initial interrogations, the hostages also provided information about other captives held with them. It was reported that signs of life were received from those who will be released in the second phase of the agreement.

Yarden Bibas, Keith Siegel, and Ofer Calderon, upon their release, revealed that in the final days before their freedom, the terrorists began increasing their food portions. This was likely done in an effort to make them appear healthier upon their arrival in Israel.

While in captivity, the hostages were coerced into signing documents expressing gratitude to their captors, and this entire process was filmed by Hamas. Every few weeks, they were also forced to participate in video recordings where they were made to speak to their families. In some instances, as part of the psychological torment, they were even compelled to say goodbye to their loved ones in these videos.
