New York: Governor Cuomo to Speak at Shaare Torah in Flatbush

Governor Andrew Cuomo will address a major gathering in the heart of our Flatbush Jewish community at Yeshivat Shaare Torah, located at 1680 Coney Island Ave., between Avenues M & N, the FJCC informs Matzav.com.

The Governor will be discussing his new “Parental Choice in Education Act.”  This is a bold legislative proposal that would for the first time in the history of New York create a tuition tax credit that could make a real difference for thousands of needy tuition paying families in the community.

If you are able to participate in this event, please make every effort to do so. It is important for us to show the Governor that this initiative is of vital importance to our community, and that we are prepared to do all in our power to help ensure its enactment. This event will last for approximately one hour.
