NFL ‘Shocked And Deeply Saddened’ After Shooting At Video Game Tournament

The National Football League (NFL) said it was “shocked and deeply saddened” after a gunman opened fire during a tournament for the Madden video game in Jacksonville, Fla.

“We are shocked and deeply saddened by the horrific tragedy today in Jacksonville. Our hearts go out to all those affected,” the league said in a Sunday statement.

“We are grateful for the first responders immediately on the scene. We support our partners at EA Sports and will continue to monitor developments with local law enforcement,” the statement continued.

    Ah, I just realized: the new football season essentially starts erev Rosh Hashono,
    so this is critically important information for the Jewish world indeed.

  2. What goes around, comes around. If the NFL kneel during the National Anthem, are unpatriotic and disrespectful of the U.S. flag, the police and the military, their own players lose respect for them. And that’s how it ends up.
