Japanese Defense Minister Gen Nakatani faced tough questions Thursday from parliament on the status of a space alien threat to Japan, and had to reassure jittery members of congress that while the country is prepared, it’s not something they have ever encountered.
“They sometimes find birds or flying objects other than aircraft but I don’t know a case of finding an unidentified flying object believed to have come over from anywhere other than Earth,” Nakatani said in response to a question from a former professional wrestler, Antonio Inoki.
Inoki also enquired as to “whether studies are going on” about such possible visitors. Read more at the Japan Times.
