A third round of talks between Russia and Ukraine ended without a breakthrough, Ukrainian officials said, as Russia continues to press Ukraine to give up Crimea and a large slice of eastern Ukraine as a condition for Russia to stop its attacks.
The talks, which began as the war entered its 12th day, yielded some progress in logistical arrangements for local cease-fires and evacuation corridors, said Ukrainian negotiator Mykhailo Podolyak after several days of failed efforts to enable civilians to safely leave areas under Russian attack.
“So far, there weren’t results that significantly improve the situation,” said Podolyak, insisting that “consultations will be continued and we’ll get results.”
Before the latest negotiations took place, Russian President Vladimir Putin had also demanded that Ukraine accept neutrality, abandon efforts to join NATO and completely demilitarize.
Meanwhile, casualties continue to climb as fighting continues and local leaders anticipate additional attacks. In the crucial port city of Odessa, the mayor told The Washington Post, “The aggressor is not far. . . . For 10 days, the city has been living with this tension. But on the other hand, it’s given us time to more thoroughly prepare.”
In other developments, Ukraine has said Moscow’s proposed evacuation routes to Russia and Belarus are “unacceptable,” after Russia announced six evacuation routes – four of which led to the two nations. Ukraine has insisted that civilians fleeing battle zones should be allowed to reach western Ukraine or European Union countries.
President Joe Biden held a call with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, during which the leaders reiterated a push to raise costs on Russia and to continue providing economic, humanitarian and security assistance to Ukraine. The Pentagon will send an additional 500 U.S. troops from the United States to Europe to bolster American forces in the eastern part of the continent, a senior U.S. defense official said.
The price of a barrel of oil briefly hit $139, its highest level since 2008, after more U.S. officials called for a ban on Russian oil and gas imports.
And Russia did not show up for a hearing at the United Nations’ top court, effectively boycotting Ukrainian efforts to seek an immediate end to the fighting.

The US and British Govts have wanted Ukraine to join NATO since the Obama/Biden admn in 2014 caused a coupe and replaced the Ukraine govt with a US backed puppet. If previous govts backed the Munich agreement that would neutralize the country and give Russia backed Donetsk region autonomy, there would have been be no war. Instead the Biden admn wants to suffocate Russia and use the Ukraine govt for its own nefarious reasons. It’s like if China wanting Mexico or Canada to join the CCP to screw the US.
Yes. Upon the Soviet Union’s breakup in 1990, the Secretary of State of the United States, James Baker, strongly promised Russia that they WOULD NOT have any of the Soviet Union or its Warsaw Pact’s former countries now flip over to join the United States’ North Atlantic Treaty Organization (N.A.T.O.) In other words, he promised that NATO would not expand even “one inch” east toward Russia.
This promise was not honored at all!! For NATO accepted into its alliance most of these former Soviet bloc countries; yes, NATO moved quite far to the east, right up to Russia’s border. And these new NATO countries have been armed to the teeth.
While Russia “tolerated” this, Ukraine, is different. Its is where earlier Russian kingdoms began; much of its population is Russian and speaks that language. Its geographic location is at Russia’s “front door,” so NATO nuclear armed rockets there would be an extremely severe threat.
So, President Putin BEGGED the United States and NATO to PLEASE, just “say” that Ukraine will not join NATO!! The United States — more correctly, the TOTALLY ILLEGITIMATE regime of Biden and his cronies — bluntly rejected the plea.

Please also go to the website of the Free Encyclopedia, Wikipedia (an org site), and then, in the search box, go to the entry for the “Georgia Guidestones.” The article relates that in the northeast area of the State of Georgia near the state line with South Carolina, in Elbert County, in the countryside is a large monument made of granite called the Georgia Guidestones. It consists of a thick square shaped “pole” in the center with four large vertical slabs around it (please see the picture of it there); on top of this formation lays a large flat capstone. It looks a little bit like the super famous Stonehenge monument in the countryside of England, which is formed of several large vertical stones with large horizontal stones on top of them, and is thus nicknamed the “American Stonehenge.”
The eight sides of the four slabs are professionally engraved with the same long message that is translated into eight languages; i.e., on each of the eight sides is engraved one of the eight translations. The message is ten directives — yes, ten “commandments” — for the world to adhere to. The article lists all ten of them.

The second one, “Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity” certainly sounds like a strong echo of the severely evil ideology of the Nazis, Yimach Shemam V’Zichram, which was an elaboration and an implementation of the severely evil ideology of the social movement called “Eugenics.” It claimed what is literally stated here, that reproduction must be “guided” “wisely,” that only people with “fit” and “good” and “superior” genetic traits should be encouraged and permitted to reproduced, but those with “unfit” or “not good” or “inferior” genetic traits should not be encouraged and should not be permitted to reproduce. This resulted in that vast numbers of people were forcefully taken and, against their will, horrific surgeries were performed on them that stopped them from having their own children.
The first one, “Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature,” that humanity’s population must be constantly kept less than a half a billion, is excessively noteworthy. This monument was constructed in 1979, when the estimated population of the world was 4,380,506,100; the well over four billion then was well more than EIGHT TIMES the half a billion the monument calls for. Now, in 2022, the estimated population of the world is 7,953,952,576; this close to eight billion now is close to SIXTEEN TIMES the half a billion the monument calls for.
Again, the monument calls for less than half a billion people; in other words, less than half a billion people is what is “permitted.” Yet, when the monument was built, the world already had A LOT MORE than eight times that permitted number!! And now in 2022, the world is getting REAL CLOSE to sixteen times the permitted number!!
In other, other, words, the number of people that the monument “allows” to be in the world IS A SMALL FRACTION, 1/8, of the number of people who actually WERE in the world, and IS AN EVEN SMALLER TINY FRACTION, 1/16, of the number of people who actually ARE NOW in the world!!
The authors of the monument obviously VERY WELL knew this, and yet they still stated their permitted number. All “other” people above this permitted number are thus NOT “permitted”!! They are “extra”!! They are “harmful”!!
So, in 1979, above the half a billion permitted people, there were over three and a half billion “not permitted” people. Now in 2022, above the half a billion permitted people, there are close to seven and a half billion “not permitted” people.” So, there have been and currently are many billions of “extra” people who are “not permitted”; what should be done with them??? Again, according to the authors of the guidestones, these people are “extra,” they are “harmful,” and they are “not permitted”; something has to be “done” with them!! What???

While it is reported that it is not known who were the people behind the person who ordered the stones, it is exceedingly unlikely and virtually impossible that he was acting alone. The numerous languages employed — in addition to the eight translations into contemporary languages related above, there are inscriptions in four ancient languages — indicates a team of linguistic specialists. The ten commandments are expressions of the wicked philosophies of several different movements; their formulation indicates representatives of each group who together formulated this list of various philosophies.
When the man who made the order made the order, the monument people thought the idea was bizarre, so they told him an exceedingly exorbitant price. The man though, did not balk at all and readily agreed to the price and paid it. This indicates he was acting on behalf of people who had very big $$$$$$ available.
