Leaders in Pyongyang claimed Wednesday they have found a way to miniaturize nuclear warheads, giving them the ability to mount weapons on missiles.
The statements come shortly after North Korea released images of what appears to be Kim Jong Un observing the testing of such a “world-level strategic weapon.”
But U.S. military leaders say the images are not entirely representative of North Korea’s abilities.
They “have not gotten as far as their clever video editors and spinmeisters would have us believe,” Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. James Winnefeld said Tuesday. Read more at The Washington Post.
