National Rifle Association CEO Wayne LaPierre on Thursday said suggestions to limit guns are “completely ridiculous,” arguing more security measures is what is needed to increase safety in schools.

“Evil walks among us, and God help us if we don’t harden our schools and protect our kids,” the NRA leader told the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

“Everyday young children are being dropped off at schools that are wide-open, soft targets for people bent on mass murder. It should not be easier for a madman to shoot up a school than a bank or a jewelry store or some Hollywood gala.”

The top NRA executive promised that the NRA would provide ‘immediate assistance” to schools for security consulting free of charge.

  1. Shouldn’t the American people question why at least 2 publications already published the event with most details on the 12th of February, 2 days before it actually happened? What does this smell of?

  2. LaPierre is irresponsible and not learning from the origins of the NRA and why it was safe to have arms defense for our 2nd Amendment. Until his eyes of shooting are orthodox, the NRA which I support is not working hard enough to make guns and gun work more responsible in the light of our best interests.

Could Mr. LaPierre emerge a true NRA leader? He is firm but the Charleston Heston brand is not the work that this organization needed. Having the gun pried from your dead hands is silly, your dust is not very keen to its boring assault.

It would be bright to keep the guns, give more responsible lessons in gun responsibility and spend more of the NRA money on mental health concerns as well. They should be more charitable than just a war in congress but that is still smart.

Give more to organizations like NAMI. They can help us afford better mental health and support more work for school nurses. We can hope we get to give more effort to better plans in our community.

Standing against guns is not waging a war on mental health. It detracts.

    Brand it yet assumed orthodox.
