The National School Board Association’ board of directors disavowed a letter it sent late last month to President Joe Biden that asked the Department of Justice to look into acts of domestic terrorism at local school board meetings.
The board wrote in its letter to NSBA members on Friday, that “we regret and apologize for the letter” sent Sept 29. The document was signed by NSBA’s top officials, CEO Chip Slaven and president Viola Garcia.
The board in its apology wrote, “to be clear, the safety of school board members, other public school officials, and students is our top priority, and there remains important work to be done on this issue. However, there was no justification for some of the language included in the letter.”
In emails obtained by Parents Defending Education earlier this week, board members wrote that they were not aware of the language used in the Sept. 29 letter which stated that parents who did not want their children learning about critical race theory or who were against mask mandates were equated with “a form of domestic terrorism,” according to the New York Post.

How much more proof do we need that Merrick Garland is an incompetent dangerous fraud?! Garland & his boss Biden were trying to be provocateurs to incite violence, where it did not exist. To label responsible Parents who want input into their children’s education as “domestic terrorists” was so outrageous it didn’t even deserve a response! Garland should resign immediately or be impeached by Congress! He is not qualified to be our Attorney General!
Way too little, and way too late. This letter was the result of weeks of dialogue between the Association and the Biden administration. And the immediate action of the AG indicates that this required no time to study the subject before rushing to the memo that ordered the FBI to monitor school board meetings.
Can the NSBA reverse the immense damage? I hope they can, sometime after the midterm elections when they deserve to be trounced and rejected from power. Meanwhile, all the movements of parents to challenge the schools on the invasion of CRT and that culture of immorality and deceit, should continue, using all legally permissible forms of protest and resistance. The pushers of these Sodom agendas should not succeed in shoving their corrupt ideas into our world, and pushing them on our children should be blocked.
How come these kids don’t have their masks taped onto their faces anymore?
