New York City has surpassed more than 25,000 deaths linked to the coronavirus, officials announced Monday.
The city Health Department reports that 25,008 deaths were confirmed or likely cases of COVID-19.
The breakdown includes 20,214 confirmed deaths from the virus and 4,794 probable deaths.
“It’s incredibly painful. These are people who were part of our families, part of communities,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said during his Tuesday press briefing.
“It’s shocking still.”
The mayor said he is hopeful that the Big Apple will rebound in 2021 as the population gets inoculated against the virus, and life can begin to return to normal after a year of severe restrictions and lockdowns.

So I guess all this lockdown of small businesses and social distancing stuff hasn’t worked. People are still dropping dead like flies unfortunately. The state of Florida allows all businesses and restaurants to operate as normal, and the death rate is much much lower. Cuomo has blood on his hands. It’s just too bad the State Assembly is so thoroughly corrupt they couldn’t care less what that Italian does.
If you believe thousands are suddenly dropping dead you need to break your radio/tv and fake news internet. You’re too gullible to differentiate between truths and lies. Hospitals are basically empty and so are morgues. Don’t you see they’re fabricating fear-mongering lies for naive people like you because they want everyone vaccinated?
