The New York Times has announced that it will be joining a coordinated effort with newspapers across the country to publish editorials taking a stand against President Trump’s repeated attacks on the media.
“As of Tuesday, more than 200 newspapers, including The New York Times, had signed on,” Jaclyn Peiser, a reporter for the Times, wrote in an article announcing the paper’s move on Tuesday morning.
“The Fake News hates me saying that they are the Enemy of the People only because they know it’s TRUE,” Trump wrote Twitter. “I am providing a great service by explaining this to the American People. They purposely cause great division & distrust. They can also cause War! They are very dangerous & sick!”
