For the first time since November 2015, President Barack Obama will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu in New York on Wednesday, before Netanyahu addresses the UN General Assembly the following day.

The House says that the meeting will be an “opportunity to discuss the need for genuine advancement of a two-state solution.”

This will likely be the last meeting between the two while Obama is president.

“The meeting also will be an opportunity to discuss the need for genuine advancement of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in the face of deeply troubling trends on the ground,” White House spokesman Josh Earnest said, Reuters reported.

  1. A note to PM Netanyahu: Be careful. Obama has your back [with a stab].

My sources tell me that Obama will support a 2 state solution in the UN no matter what.
