obama-chanukah[Video below.] President Barack Obama marked Chanukah today as a story of “faith over doubt.”

Obama, first lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Joe Biden convened a Chanukah celebration at the White House today in an early celebration of the Yom Tov.

Obama said the Chanukah story was about “right over might, faith over doubt.”

The president noted “our unshakeable support and commitment to the security of the nation of Israel.”

Chanukah begins at sunset on Dec. 20. Obama joked that everyone needs to be “careful that your kids don’t start thinking Chanukah lasts 20 nights instead of eight.”

  1. i think the reason oabama made this chanuka party early to make a letzunes of the whole yom tov, & to make 1 big joke abt it, part of his hate to israel.

  2. If he could celebrate ‘Hanukkah’ early to make a few Jews happy, then maybe he could leave office early to make all Americans happy!

  3. “… he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and shall think to change times and laws …” [Dan 7:25]

  4. Am I GLAD that he picked the wrong day!! America today is the champion heir to ancient Greece. Not being an intrinsically “evil empire” by design – Greece developed – from the originators of democracy, culture, and athletic achievement – into a notorious, hedonistic, oppressive regime. In the modern post WWII era, immorality which is reminiscent of the pre-flood era and economic money-squeezing tactits have obscured the “need” for anti-religious persecution. -Let it “suffice” to bad-mouth those who resist today’s moral downslide.

It is WE who light the Chanukah lights – not the modern day Geeks, [uh, -Greeks].
