Pundits continue to analyze President Barack Obama’s speech at a mosque today.

President Obama took on the role of television critic in remarks today at the Islamic Society of Baltimore.

“Our television shows should have some Muslim characters that are unrelated to national security,” the president said at the mosque, “because — it’s not that hard to do. There was a time when there were no black people on television. And you can tell good stories while still representing the reality of our communities.”

Today’s trip marked the first visit to mosque as president by Obama.

  1. Sorry, anonymous, but he said “communities.” In general, however, Obama never chides Muslims for the radicals among them. This mosque is a radical one which shows you where Obama’s allegiance lies.

  2. We could use a good Orthodox Jewish Docu-Drama too. If we see Fiveish all over the world, we will know that G-d is more important than a big milkshake

  3. Well that makes all the sense. He got where he is himself through affirmative actions, so why not do the same for his Muslim brothers…

  4. when he is no longer the president, and he goes back to the place from which he comes, obama will leave with state secrets to share with the group he embraces
