Litman Mor Moravchik, one of the last surviving Jewish partisans of World War II, died in Eretz Yisroel at the age of 104.

Born in Davidgrorock, Poland, Moravchik moved to Vilna after the war broke out and became head of the Jewish anti-Nazi underground known as the FPO. In 1943, he left the ghetto with a group of underground members and joined the famous partisan brigade led by the Lithuanian Jew “Colonel” Polokovnik Markov.

After the war, Moravchik helped smuggle Jews into Eretz Yisroel, before making aliyah in 1946.
