A private yacht that will be host to a luxurious Shabbos for some 30 members of the Hamptons Jewish community.
Rabbi Berel Lerman, who’ll captain the event at the Sag Harbor Cove Yacht Club, made the arrangements for the kosher at-sea Shabbos experience – putting on mezuzos earlier this week and arranging all the kosher food and other Shabbos needs.
The guests on the yacht are all members of Sag Harbor’s Center for Jewish Life and the Shabbos. This is the second year of this exotic Shabbos experience.

Is this “Rabbi” arranging a floating eiruv, so they can go snorkeling off the side of the yacht…?
Do they accept school money? Serve hering?will be scholar in the residence
Mezuzos? Will this Shabbos last 30 days?
Is there a mikva to go to on Shabbos morning?
Mezuzos??
Thank you for this all important breaking news. With this knowledge my life is now complete.
@my2 cents
It only needs an eiruv if they want to take something aboard that was there from before shabbos. The boat itself doesn’t need an eirv
Did he install a picture of his Rebbe (the late Lubavitcher Rebbe) on the yacht?
does NOT NEED MEZUZOT……….SO……ITS NOT A ”’JEWISH CRUISE”’…….ITS A PAGAN CRUISE.
I HOPE THEY INVITED THEIR SHARE OF ILLEGALS FROM SOUTH AMERICA while they vote for bernie and Hillary
A LITTLE SARCASM GOES A LONG WAY
And this Gashmius is acceptable to real Torah-Jews?
Bon Voyage. Shady eyes on the water can be laughing. Too much for shabbas. But a cruise maybe somewhere? Who knows. Is anyone happy with Kosherica? I want more information.
“Shaka, when the walls fell.”
Anything for some publicity. When Hashem appeared to Eliyahu, he was not in the wind, earthquake or fire, but in the still small voice. This is not the way to do kiruv rechokim.
