Today, 12 completely free laptops will be handed out to 12 lucky winners – every hour, on the hour – starting at 11:00 AM and ending at 10:00 PM. Entry is easy and free, there’s no purchase necessary. Simply fill out the form at oorah.org/laptops/, and that’s it. Plus, for each friend you refer, your chances are doubled.
Enjoy the fun and suspense as Oorah counts down the last 12 hours to the Auction deadline. The campaign comes as a final reminder to get a chance to win 46 fabulous prizes for only $5 per ticket. Donors of $250 or more receive a choice of 16 fantastic Free Gifts. In addition, there is a special bonus for entering online, as you will automatically be entered to win $500.
Oorah, which means ‘awaken,’ does just that: it rouses Jewish kids and their families out of a deep spiritual slumber, and shows them the beauty of their own rich heritage. By enrolling children in yeshiva, giving them a meaningful summer at BoyZone or GirlZone camps, learning Torah with their parents, helping them learn to observe Shabbos and celebrate Yomim Tovim and so much more, Oorah has taken on the mission. Every Auction dollar helps support these effective, successful programs, making every donor a vital part of the kiruv journey for the nearly 2,000 families Oorah serves.
But act fast…the deadline, is almost here. And save the date: Motzei Shabbos, May 8, 2010. Join co-hosts Country Yossi and Rav Moshe Meir Weiss live from Oorah, as they broadcast the final hours to the live Auction drawing.
Time is running out… The seconds tick by, and countdown is on: hurry and enter here now for a chance to win.

Hey, I could use one!!
This idea attests to the marketing genius of OOrah. i work in marketing so I will explain the idea. One of the most important thing in non-profit today is the coveted E-mail address. Companies will pay lots of money to get their hands on proper e-mail address. Assuming the total OOrah pays for these laptops is in the $6000 range, the email accounts they will receive is worth way more. Remember you get another chance for sending them another e-mail address. Despite the costs of marketing this giveaway, OOrah now has thousands of e-mail addresses which they can use to further solicit.
Did the monkey steal a raffle ticket?
i saved so much money by using the http://www.kirbycard.com/. Its a calling card with no gimmicks No surcharges no monthly fees no hidden charges. Thank you Oorah for letting me buy such a great product.
I wish they would have a KUGEL giveaway. Or better yet, a CHOLENT giveaway!
🙂
I’m so happy for you Rabbi! May you use the laptop in good health!
Its so much fun when you know one of the people!
