Oreo is setting its sights on a new segment of snack lovers with a major announcement: a completely sugar-free version of its world-famous cookie. Mondelēz revealed that Oreo Zero Sugar Cookies will be hitting shelves early next year, marking a significant expansion for the brand.
The revamped cookies, arriving in January 2026, will even sport a refreshed look, with the words Zero Sugar stamped directly onto each cookie. According to a statement shared with USA TODAY, Mondelēz spent roughly four years engineering the recipe so that fans would still get the familiar Oreo flavor and texture they expect.
Shoppers eager to try them won’t have to wait long. Beginning in January, both Original Zero Sugar Oreos and Double Stuf Zero Sugar Oreos will be sold nationwide, and the company emphasized that these new products are not limited-time items but permanent additions to the Oreo lineup.
Those who don’t want to wait until the retail release can already order the cookies directly from the Oreo website. A 20-count bag currently retails for $5.29.
The ingredient list for the sugar-free versions includes maltitol, polydextrose, sucralose, and Ace-K—sweeteners that allow the cookies to mimic traditional sweetness without relying on actual sugar. The recipe specifically excludes aspartame, a sweetener that has faced scrutiny over potential cancer risks.
In terms of calories, a sugar-free Oreo clocks in at about 45 calories per cookie. By comparison, the classic Oreo contains around 53 calories each, according to the brand’s nutritional information.

Just because they have no sugar does not mean
that they do not have: many unhealthy artificial colors,
and unhealthy artificial flavors, and unhealthy preservatives.
Yes, and along with the artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives, are — what are certainly the very worst of all — are the artificial sweeteners. ALL of these artificial additives are severely harmful.
When are they coming out with cookies that arent oud
We should serve these at the Shabbat kiddish
Finally a healthy option

Nobody is forcing you to eat them. The rest of us will enjoy them.
Mmmm cant wait.
Says OU-D on the package. Is it really milchigs or just Dairy Equipment?
Artificial sweeteners are much more dangerous and unhealthy than sugar, as they are full of chemicals, enough to sweeten food.
For instance Aspartame: Roaches and ants won’t it, cats and dogs won’t eat it, even house flies won’t eat it – but the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) serve Aspartame to you!
Thank you debbie downer
Thank You very much for bringing out “The Truth”!! As an example, you mention the extremely, extremely commonly used artificial sweetener Aspartame. Actually, the article here points out that, for this Oreo product, they purposely AVOIDED using Aspartame, for they could not deny that it is well known that Aspartame (among other severe harm) heavily causes C———-!!
However, in the line before, the article relates that (in this Oreo) THEY DID USE the other extremely commonly used artificial sweetener, Sucralose, which is “Splenda.” As extremely terrible as Aspartame is, Splenda is many, many times worse; that it too causes C——— is one of the “smaller” things that it does.
It is important to mention a bit about Splenda:
When it came out around twenty-five years ago, one of its key promotion lines was “Splenda tastes like sugar because it is half sugar.” So, hearing this, a person will think that in a cup of Splenda powder, about half of the white granules there are really regular sugar granules and the other half are this new thing of (part of) Splenda.
This is completely false, for there is NO real regular sugar there at all, and this promotion line is a piece of vicious deception. The only “half” “sugar” that is there is that to manufacture Splenda, they take a molecule of real regular sugar, BUT THEN they BREAK OFF part of that molecule. So, that “half” that remains, as it now has a different structure, it is no longer sugar; instead, it is a different material. Then, to this broken new-material-part-molecule they attach a molecule of the poison “Chlorine,” and fusing the two materials together produces a completely different new chemical that they call “Splenda.”
In the early Splenda years, it was proclaimed that extensive tests on it had been done, which (supposedly) showed it to be 100% “safe” with no harmful effects. However, these (supposed) tests were carried out in the 1980’s & 90’s by the chemical companies who were involved in its development. So it is understandable that they — who would not want to show their productions as being bad — would manipulate any tests that they would do in ways that would make all the results show “OK.”
Different independent tests that were performed much more recently in the 2020’s showed totally opposite results: that Splenda (among other harm) DOES indeed cause C——– and Strokes and Heart-Circulatory Diseases and Major Intestinal Damage and DNA Obliteration.
Aare they dairy or parave?
Fleishigs.
Both
The top is parave
The bottom milchuk
Genius!!
Quote: “The ingredient list . . . . . includes sucralose specifically excludes aspartame, a sweetener that has faced scrutiny over potential cancer risks.” The problem is that “sucralose,” known by its brand name “Splenda,” also causes C—— and it also destroys a persons DNA.
The Sheeple are so naive, it’s amazing. They have no issue with food made strictly from chemicals, as long as it’s not sugar. Dumb! That’s why they can come up with lab meat.
