Over 120 Arrested In Today’s Draft Protests

Several thousand protesters blocked the roads on Thursday to protest against the efforts of the Army to enforce the draft.

There were simultaneous disturbances in other parts of the city, including Mea Shearim, where police said the protestors had blocked streets and set fire to garbage bins, using them as flaming barricades.

They later said they had arrested 120 demonstrators who were “involved in disturbances and blocked roads and major junctions”. Read more here.
