House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer raised suspicions on Wednesday, suggesting that President Biden’s family may have received over $40 million from foreign nationals in exchange for favorable policy decisions.
During an interview on the “Cats & Cosby Show” with John Catsimatidis on WABC 770, the Kentucky Republican stated that his committee had identified six specific policy decisions where President Biden appeared compromised. Comer emphasized that four of these decisions were made early in Biden’s presidency, leaving no other conclusion but that the president’s compromised state influenced these choices.
Comer characterized the situation as organized crime, asserting, “There’s no other way to define it.” He further explained that his committee had recently obtained banking statements and suspicious activity reports, which revealed additional bank accounts, shell companies, and involvement of more members of the Biden family in their overseas influence peddling scheme.
The committee, led by the GOP, aims to determine the extent of the money received by the Bidens and President Biden’s role in the matter. Comer described the investigation as a complex puzzle that they are determined to solve.
According to Comer, around 30 to 40 different banks and a similar number of shell companies were used in an attempt by the Biden family to obscure the source of funds and avoid paying taxes. The allegations raised by IRS whistleblowers during a transcribed interview with the Ways and Means Committee aligned with these claims.
IRS whistleblower Gary Shapely revealed that Hunter Biden evaded a $1.2 million tax bill in 2017 and 2018 alone, and there is likely a substantial amount of unreported income from previous years. Shapely disclosed that approximately $400,000 of unreported income from Burisma Holdings in 2014 still remains. Despite being advised by his partner to amend his returns, Hunter Biden failed to take action.
Comer expressed confidence that their investigation would uncover at least $17 million in foreign income received by the Biden family, but suggested that the transactions could exceed $40 million. He identified nine members of the Biden clan, including Hunter Biden, James Biden (the president’s brother), Sara Biden (James Biden’s wife), Hallie Biden (the widow of the president’s late son), Melissa Cohen Biden (Hunter’s current wife), and Kathleen Buhle (Hunter’s ex-wife), as alleged recipients of foreign income.

It’s very possible this is true but it’s also possible that the same way the Democrats spent seven years making up all sorts of stories about Trump, the Republicans have learned that trick and are doing the same thing. Lets see this go to court before passing judgment.
