President Donald Trump is unlikely to present the White House’s long-awaited Middle East peace plan before next spring, Palestinian officials told i24NEWS Wednesday.
Two officials traveling with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in New York said that they were told by Egyptian and Jordanian officials not to expect a “major announcement” on the issue any time soon.
Addressing the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, Trump said: “The United States is committed to a future of peace and stability in the region, including peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians. That aim is advanced, not harmed, by acknowledging the obvious facts.”
