IDF soldiers shot and injured a Palestinian man who attempted to stab them near the Hermesh settlement in the northern West Bank today.
According to the IDF, the soldiers were inspecting the man at a checkpoint near Hermesh, southwest of Jenin, when he pulled out a knife.
The forces on scene opened fire, shooting and wounding the Palestinian man, according to Times of Israel.
He was treated at the scene for his injuries, the army said. No IDF troops were injured in the attempt.
