Palestinian terrorist Khalil Doikat, who murdered Rabbi Shai Ohayon in a Petach Tikva stabbing attack in 2020, was sentenced by the Lod District Court today to life in prison, the Jerusalem Post reports.
Doikat, a 48-year-old resident of the West Bank village of Rujeib, stabbed Ohayon, a husband and father of four, to death in a Petach Tikvah junction in August 2020. Doikat was charged with murder in September 2020, with charges accusing him of deciding to kill an Israeli citizen or soldier by stabbing them “for Palestine, the Palestinian people, Al-Aqsa and God.”
