The Palestinian Authority turned to the United Nations following a gun battle in Nablus, or Shechem, on Wednesday in which 10 Palestinians were reported killed and numerous others wounded when Israeli forces came under fire during an IDF arrest operation.
PLO Secretary-General Hussein al-Sheikh tweeted, “The Palestinian leadership decides to go to the #UN Security Council to request international protection for our Palestinian people in light of the continuing crimes of the occupation.”
Describing the arrest raid as a “planned and premeditated criminal act,” he added that “the Palestinian leadership is seriously considering taking steps at all levels in response to this barbaric act.”
Riyad Mansour, the PLO envoy to the U.N., also demanded that the world body take action following the IDF operation. He said the U.N. was losing credibility by standing by as Palestinians were killed and warned that the disputed territories were a powder keg waiting to go off, which he blamed on Israeli policies.
Similarly, a spokesman for P.A. President Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday condemned “the crime committed by the occupation forces in the city of Nablus” and called on the Biden administration “to take immediate action and put effective pressure on the Israeli government to stop its continuous aggression against our people.”
Hamas, the Gaza-based terrorist group, in a statement said that it “hails the Palestinian freedom fighters” and that the “Israeli occupation’s aggression” would “not go unnoticed.” JNS

Palestinians are openly asking for protection for their terrorist militants? And the world will just sit idly and discuss this?
No the world won’t discuss it or anything else. They will just give the Palestinian terrorists what ever they want.
