All five passengers aboard the missing OceanGate submersible jetting out to view the Titanic wreckage “have sadly been lost,” the vessel’s operator said Thursday.
“We now believe that our CEO Stockton Rush, Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood, Hamish Harding, and Paul-Henri Nargeolet, have sadly been lost,” the company said in a statement to CNN.
“These men were true explorers who shared a distinct spirit of adventure, and a deep passion for exploring and protecting the world’s oceans,” according to the statement. “Our hearts are with these five souls and every member of their families during this tragic time. We grieve the loss of life and joy they brought to everyone they knew.”
The vessel’s passengers included world explorer Hamish Harding, Pakistani energy and tech mogul Shanzada Dawood and his son Sulaiman, 19; famed French diver and Titanic expert Paul-Henri Nargeolet, and OceanGate founder and CEO Stockton Rush.

I wonder if this disaster has any divine message for us? I just found out that the wife of CEO Ash is the great-great-granddaughter of Isidor Strauss, the well known co-owner of Macy’s . He drowned with his wife in the Titanic disaster, because he selflessly refused to take the seat offered him in a lifeboat because he wanted it given to a woman or child. His wife refused to leave him when offered a seat, and they drowned together. Their memory should be for a blessing.

I also looked up the father’s family which has names such as Dawoud and Souliman, they appear to belong to a group of Muslims different from the mainstream, “Memon” people, traditionally traders, look it up. I have no idea if that is an euphemism for Jews or an identity a Jewish hidden family might have used.
