Donald Trump was not calling for violence when he suggested “Second Amendment people” could stop a potential President Hillary Clinton from nominating Supreme Court justices, according to the GOP nominee’s running mate, Mike Pence, reports THE DAILY BEAST.

Speaking with NBC Philly shortly after Trump’s comments, the vice-presidential nominee said, “Hillary Clinton made it very clear that she wants to see in changes in the right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms. And I think what Donald Trump is clearly saying was that people who cherish that right… should be involved in the political process and let their voices be heard.” When directly asked whether Trump was implying gun owners take up violence against Clinton, Pence replied: “Of course not. Donald Trump is urging people around this country to act consistent with their convictions in the course of this election.” Read more at THE DAILY BEAST.

  1. this fiasco “issue” clearly shows that Hillary’s campaign is in big, big trouble. they probably hired someone to listen and record every word that Trump lets out of his mouth. then this new “hire” goes and takes apart and disects all of Trumps words and if there is even some remote chance that the democrats can make an “issue” of it, it next goes to the media who are salivating at the mouth and the prospect of spinning this into something that can embarrass Trump. what a slimy, dirty bunch of people! i wonder how much this new “hire” gets paid.

  2. it is ridiculous to even entertain the thought that Trump was expressing his desire to have Hillary shot! But here is the irony of this whole “non-issue”. If Trump wins the election he would be causing such a tumult in the Establishment way of doing things. the livelihoods of so many people who relied on the corruption going on in washington would be directly effected. if we see this happening, my advice to Trump would be to watch his back and make sure he has proper security around him. To say that Hillary is living with a threat of “getting shot” is absolute nonsense. but the threat of Trump “getting shot” if he wins—-now that’s something to take seriously.

  3. Time to go on offense difference is that with pillory there really is what to pick on you don’t have to distort to attack her
