Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf signed a bi-partisan bill into law on Sunday legalizing medical marijuana across the state. Patients with serious medical conditions will receive access to medical marijuana with a physician’s prescription beginning next month.

The Department of Health may authorize up to 150 dispensaries throughout the state. Patients in Pennsylvania can cross state lines to access the drug at dispensaries in other states until the program is fully implemented, which officials say could take 18-24 months.

The only types of marijuana initially approved for use includes pills, cream and oils that can be used in a vapor. Read more at ABC News.
