peresAt a meeting in Cairo, Egypt, today, Israeli President Shimon Peres told Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak that the Israeli government has no intentions of building a Bais Hamikdosh on the Temple Mount in Yerushalayim and he is sorry for the frequent rumors and lies that keep creating fabricated crises. Mubarak said that Yerushalayim is not only a Palestinian problem but a pan-Arab problem and Israel will suffer if a just solution is not found for the final status of the city.

Over the years, there have been continuing rumors that Jews were going to storm the Temple Mount and build a Bais Hamikdosh on the site. Most of these rumors originate from Moslem sources.

Though the Israeli government has no intentions of building a Bais Hamikdosh on the Har Habyis in Yerushalayim, the neviim said that will be a Bais Hamikdosh there with the coming of the geulah. May it be soon and in our day.

  1. Peres is absolutely correct. The Zionist State of Israel will never build or allow a Bais Hamikdash to be built. That is exactly why the Zionist state must be dissolved in order to make way for a Torah Malchus in which the Bais Hamikdash will be built! There is a novel that conveys exactly this idea, Aleph Shin by Sender Zeyv.

  2. The State No BUT THE nATION OF Israel awaits its building every day. President President the Man who blessed you with logevity you enjoy worked towards that end. How dare you contradict the chofetz Chaim
