That’s right. From now on you can cook food that is kosher l’Pesach that is so good, so elegant, appealing, and just plain delicious, you’ll want to serve it all year round. In her brand new stunning cookbook, Perfect for Pesach: Passover recipes you’ll want to make all year, Naomi Nachman, the newest star in the kosher culinary universe, shows you how to create spectacular Pesach dishes and how to make cooking for Pesach creative and just plain fun.
Pesach cooking comes naturally to Naomi, who hosts the popular radio show Table for Two on the Nachum Segal network and is a well-known food columnist. Pesach prep is in her blood: her father ran Australia’s first Pesach hotel program in her native Australia. When Naomi moved to New York she founded and managed The Aussie Gourmet, a Pesach catering service, for more than twenty years, with recipes she developed herself.
“My goal is to help home cooks prepare delicious meals without making the process too complicated or exhausting,” Naomi says. “I want you to be as excited about cooking for Pesach as I am. These recipes are so delicious, your family and friends will be asking for them all year long.”
Since she began her adventures in Pesach cooking, says Naomi, the number of kosher l’Pesach products has increased amazingly, and Naomi takes full advantage of the many products available. We’re going way beyond matzah brie here; think Sushi with Cauliflower Rice, Charoset Salad, Pistachio-Crusted Salmon, Tequila-Lime Chicken, Herb-Coated Lamb Chops and Chocolate Almond Butter Bark – 125 kosher for Pesach dishes – and 120 of them are non-gebrochts and gluten free!
Every recipe features a vivid photograph by Miriam Pascal, author of the popular dessert cookbook Something Sweet. Perfect for Pesach also includes ideas culled from Naomi’s years of professional experience, freezing tips, and guides to basic ingredients and kitchen equipment.
This year, surprise your guests. Surprise yourself. And make your food Perfect for Pesach!
