London artist David Brewer was on a plane recently with Sefardic Chief Rabbi of Israel Rav Yitzchok Yosef, who had visited Argentina and was returning to Israel.
Brewer turned to Rav Yosef and asked permission from the Rishon L’Tzion to draw a picture of him. Rav Yosef graciously agreed.
The talented artist drew a beautiful painting and presented it to Rav Yosef afterward for his opinion. Rav Yosef smiled broadly and agreed.
The painting turned out to be a beauty.
