Photos: Elevator Being Constructed at Home of Rav Chaim Kanievsky

In recent days, construction began on an elevator at the home of Rav Chaim Kanievsky on Rechov Rashbam in Bnei Brak. The elevator is being built to make it easier for Rav Chaim to go out of his home when necessary.

A year ago, a bridge was built from Rav Chaim’s home at 23 Rechov Rashbam to the nearby Lederman Shul to make it easier for Rav Chaim to go there to daven and return home.

Now, construction has begun on an elevator in the front of Rav Chaim’s home, which will further enable Rav Chaim to go and come from events that require him to descend the steps leading to his home.
