Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn), together with NYC Councilman Carlos Menchaca, attended the Yeshiva Yagdil Torah (Ger) Uvos U’Bonim event on Motzei Shabbos Parshas Chayei Sorah. The event was the highlight of a global learning program that involves hundreds of boys and their fathers and grandfathers dedicating time to study together every week, starting their week off with Torah learning.
“I was delighted to visit Yeshiva Yagdil Torah’s Uvos U’Bonim melave malka. I was joined by NYC Councilman Carlos Menchaca, who represents parts of Borough Park. It was an incredible and inspirational sight seeing all these fathers and grandfathers learning Torah with their children and grandchildren. Councilman Menchaka was impressed by the warmth and enthusiasm of this special event.”
The beautiful event was held at the Palace Ballroom.
