[Photos below.] Armed with wooden poles, Kosel employees yesterday removed millions of kvitlach – handwritten notes, faxes and email printouts – from between the ancient stones of the Kosel. The Western Wall Heritage Foundation, which gives the Kosel such a face-lift twice a year – before the Pesach and ahead of Rosh Hashanah – are considering a third annual clean-up, due to the growing influx of kvitlach.
The kvitlach will be placed in a repository in accordance with halacha, with the laborers – working under the supervision of Kosel rov Rav Shmuel Rabinovich – taking care to not read their content.
Engineers also regularly conduct a test to determine the stability of the stones so that none are in the risk of falling on the mispalelim below.

WHATS THE DIFFERENCE OF A KOTEL AND A KOSEL?
I dont have any idea.
Also while your at it, what is the difference of a TORAH AND A toiyra.
Then I need to know why some are yids and others are JEWS.
I get so confused sometimes.
oh another ..whats a koiyel and a kollel.
But there is one word we all understand either way
kesev money dinero
and the most common phrase.
”NOT ENOUGH I WANT MORE….”
THIS COMES ACROSS TO ME WHEN I WALK ON WALLENSBERG AVE,
WELL ALSO SOMETIMES I THINK OF THIS SILLINESS WHEN I CROSS’THE ED KOCH BRIDGE’
I have to admit I am still confused where the west bank is?
look at the photos above..why dont they pull out the papers and throw it directly into a container,,,
why on the floor first
then sweep it up
and then pick it up….
Just for respects sake of the ”written tears”
I have more…as a sephardic and walking through villiamboig,
do you think it would be appropriate if I went there on my camel and brought my staff wearing my long white robes?
Things got so complicated lately.
Anyone know where can get a velvet kipa not a black cloth one..I need velvet cause thats what they all wear in the wedding I am attending.I HEARD THEY CHECK KIPOT AT THE DOOR.
