The lines were long, but that only added to the beauty and charm of the experience.
Hundreds of people throughout the day lined up to greet Maran Rav Shmuel Kamenetsky, the Philadelphia rosh yeshiva, at a home in Lakewood, NJ the line of people waiting for him snaking around the dining room and out into the street, young and old eager to receive the bracha of the zekan roshei hayeshivos in America.
With his characteristic warmth and ever-present smile, Rav Shmuel greeted each visitor, offering a heartfelt bracha followed by best wishes for ah gutten moed, leaving one and all with a memory that will long not be forgotten.
